Service Description
Mother's Alterations Appointment This appointment is the first fitting for Mother's alterations. During your visit, we will fit the dress to you, answer any questions, mark the hem, and discuss any additional alterations or options you may want. Please bring the shoes you plan to wear with the dress so we can properly mark the hem. We will also review optional add-ons such as sewn-in cups with lift ($15–$25), dress steaming ($15–$25), and belts, which are available starting at $10. Most alterations alterations typically range from $50–$125, depending on the dress and the work needed. We require half down at the first appointment, with the remaining balance due at pickup. Group Scheduling Note: We are now offering a Group Bridesmaid Discount when bridesmaids schedule their alterations together as a group. This includes both the first fitting and pickup appointments. Groups of 3–5 bridesmaids receive 10% off alterations (60-minute total appointment time) Groups of 6 or more bridesmaids receive 15% off alterations (90-minute total appointment time) To receive the group discount, all bridesmaids must attend the appointment together and select “Bridesmaid Alteration Group” in the booking dropdown. Please be sure to choose the correct number of bridesmaids when scheduling to allow adequate time. Rush Policy: If your event is 3 weeks or less from the appointment date, a rush fee will apply. We also offer a separate Rush Bridesmaid Alterations appointment option, which must be selected when booking. Please be sure to choose the correct appointment type to ensure proper scheduling and turnaround time. Important fitting notes: Please shower and wear deodorant before your fitting. White deodorant marks are easier to remove than lingering odors. Be cautious with self-tanner, excessive makeup, lipstick, and foundation, as these can stain formal dresses and some stains are very difficult to remove. Payment Policy: Cash or check preferred. Cancellation Policy
Our appointment program will issue appointment reminders via text and/or email but clients are responsible for each appointment. There is a $25 missed/cancelled appointment fee for no-shows, or cancellations occurring within 24 hours prior to the appointment. Please be sure to cancel through your confirmation email or contact the store. You will be asked for a credit card to book your appointment, however your card will only be charged if you are a "no-show" or cancel within the 24 hours. A credit card will be needed to book this appointment, but will not be charged unless you are a "no-show" or cancel within the 24 hour window. Please have the following items at each fitting: undergarments you plan to wear with the dress, such as: slip, bra, shapeware, shoes, etc. Wearing different garments will change the fit of the dress. Please note failure to bring the above items with you to each fitting will incur additional fitting appointment charge of $50. If any of these change after the 1st fitting, there will be an additional charge of $50. **If you decide to move forward without having any of these items, we cannot guarantee fit with be perfect and a note will be made on your invoice.
